How do I make a Loopie?
Just grab your GPS and go. Ride, run, trek, walk, ski, sail… If you’ve got a GPS trace we can make you a Loopie.
Loopies can be of a single activity, or we can combine multiple GPS traces to create images of bigger adventures. There is no limit to the number of GPS files we can combine.
You don’t need to do anything special, just upload your data to Strava, Garmin, (other)… as you normally do, and we can take it from there. During the order process there is space to add your Strava/Garmin links. Or you can just email the .gpx files to us.
What data do you use to create the Loopie?
We use .gpx files to create your Loopie image. This accurately captures your route shape, surrounding terrain and all the key stats. If you use another GPS file format such as .FIT, don’t worry, we can convert any file format to .gpx.
We can even fix ’glitches’ with your data. Sometimes there may be gaps in your trace or mysterious jumps in elevation. This can all be easily corrected before creating your image.

We can ship Loopies worldwide.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes, All prices shown on the website include VAT. If you order within the UK the VAT breakdown will be shown on your invoice.

What kind of paper and ink do you print with?
Loopies are professionally produced to gallery quality standards ensuring; sharp details, vivid colors, with an exceptional finish. We print Loopies using Giclee fine art printers on premium quality 200gsm Hahnemühle art paper.
Will I receive a proof?
Yes. We will email you a proof to check before printing. It is your opportunity to check all the data and let us know any changes you'd like to make. We will only print when you're 100% happy. Any changes requested after a proof has been approved will incur additional cost to amend.
Can I get my Loopie framed?
Yes. We offer framing across all Loopie print sizes. All frames are made from solid wood, available in two styles and three finishes. Our ‘Classic frame’ can be shipped globally but our premium ‘Spacer frame’ can only be shipped within the UK.
How long does it take to receive a Loopie?
Depending on the complexity of your Loopie, production times can vary. As a guide, standard single day orders will take 2 days from ordering to receive a proof. More complex multi-day orders will take longer. We will advise after ordering when you should expect to receive your proof.
Once the proof is approved we will send to the printer. They have a 2 day turn around time for print only orders and a 3-5 day turn around time for framed prints. When the printer has shipped your order will will email you tracking details.
What size are Loopies?
We print Loopies at common global artwork sizes:
S (8" x 6" / 20cm x 15cm)
M (6" x 12" / 40cm x 30cm)
L (24" x 18" / 60cm x 45cm)
XL (32" x 24" / 80cm x 60cm)
Framing adds 40mm to every dimension.
Loopie is a very bespoke product so we can print at other sizes. For any non standard sizes please email us at hello@loopieroute.com for a seperate quote.
Can I buy a Loopie gift card?
Yes, you can buy a gift card. Loopie gift cards are the perfect way to give a Loopie print. These can be used online with any of our products. Available in £50, £100, £150 and £200 amounts.
Your gift card will be sent via email to your email address (No physical card will be shipped). There will be instructions in the email on how to redeem your gift card It will contain a unique code to be used when purchasing .
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Yes you can. As long as you let us know during the production time then changing your delivery address shouldn't be a problem. The sooner you can let us know the better. Please refer to our full Terms of service
